Last night I noticed that when I first started the truck, it would alternate back and forth between 740 and 760 RPM. I would estimate about 1.5 seconds at each speed, if I remember correctly. 740...760...740...760, etc. I have the GDE EcoTune...haven't really noticed this before. Normally, I get just a little bit of variation in the idle when my AC is running. Any ideas? Temp was around 55-60F. I was actually just repositioning the truck in my drive, not going anywhere....so, I'm not sure if it would have continued after driving for a few minutes.

Cold start with gde tune, mine always fluctuates. As soon as the engine warms up a bit, it goes away. Keith said it is normal and no worries.

Cool...good to know. BTW, how are you fitting 245/70/16s on your truck? What lift? My suspension is sagging pretty bad after 8 yrs. Will be lifting soon and trying to fit 245/75/16s, probably using Rocky Road's Rockfather Deluxe. I've dealt with them in the past with no prob, and I think that would be a good lift.

My crd suspension is bone stock, I did replace the front Springs with new, but didn't have rubbing issues before either. Took a pic for you, the rear has actually more clearance that front:

I'd say I have about 2 inch when wheel is straight and with new springs haven't noticed any rubbing. But I also think this rims have a bigger (positive) offset than the stock. I think that stock rims with this tire may have a slight rubbing when wheel is turned at max in the front plastic inner fender.

Normal with the GDE tune.

I got 245/70R16s and no issues.

Cool...thanks for the info and pics. I can't wait to get this thing up off the ground a little more, with beefier tires.
