Changed timing belt out today on 2006 CRD. Everything seemed to be perfect. On test drive I heard a loud pop and I then had no power. Jeep runs, but no power. I replaced timing belt, water pump, thermostat, and belt tensioner. Any ideas out there.? |

Check both of your boost hoses first. One may have simply popped loose. Check them thoroughly for rips, or a blown out hole also. |

Thank you guys for your response. You were both correct, booster hose blew off. Fixed and runs like Swiss watch! Again tanks |

Respectfully suggest that it's a good idea to check the clamps on the system after a week or so of running. |
