1. if the timing belt has not been changed, DO IT! age deteriorates the belt too.
if it breaks!2. Change the coolant with HOAT coolant and distilled water.
3. At your next oil change, have a used oil analysis done.

I'm coming up on 60,000 miles and looking at what maintenance would be beneficial outside of the routine stuff in the manual. I'm thinking that I should perhaps get a new battery for one since I still have the original....working just fine but it is 8 yo so it should be near the end of it's useful life. Any thoughts based on experience would be appreciated since I intend to keep this beast for quite some time. Oh, it does have the GDE "hot" tune. Thanks for any input. Richard |
