I don't see in either post where the crack is. If it's in what I think is the aluminum "radiator" part then any good radiator shop can probably weld it good as new but if it's where the radiator part joins the plastic side tanks your options are a) JB weld type repair; b) used-carpart.com lists a bunch but I would not buy unless they pressure test; c) dealer or mail order; d) see if you can source a "universal" replacement. A while back a forum member was trying to get all metal ones built but I don't think anything came of that.

You might also email both Corey at idParts and Keith at GDE to see if they have or can get anything at an acceptable prices or at least better than the ca. $525+shipping I see online.

Thank you. I don't know where the leaking is my mechanic has it. I guess I should ask him. I did find a used one from Canada that has been pressure tested with a one year warranty for $185 shipped.

Sounds like a good price with the warranty.

The stock design with plastic end tanks and crimping is not robust long term. An aftermarket CAC with aluminum end tanks would be a nice alternative if it existed. The price of a custom unit might be $300-$700 depending on the design work in it. A good custom CAC will have a larger temp differential and lower pressure drop vs. the stock unit.
