Hey guys,

Has anybody tried this product? Looks very good on paper, similar to magnifine but universal. Can be used for transmission, oil and diesel.

Sounds nice, but wouldn't a good quality filter remove the exact same particles already? I suppose if you really want to have the ferrous bits stay in a particular place, it would be nice.

Ultimately, I'm guessing an oil analysis before and after using the same filter/oil/driving conditions would be the best way to tell.

Apparently they keep the particles that are thinner than the oil filter can actually filter. I'm especially interested in having them on the diesel filter. And any good magnet will do the same thing, especially the magnets from an old hard disk.

I think an oil analysis after the magnets will show significant drops in the metal from the oil, which makes sense, the side effect would be to never know if you have an issue since an oil analysis would not show the metallic concentration accurately. Anyways, the price is a bit high, it's about 160-ish for 2 of them... I ordered an oil filter set and I'm thinking about a diesel one.
