P0402 with segr? segr been on for a few years maybe it went bad. any thoughts? |

put a set of test boost hoses on ,same thing installed segr bypass plug disconnected did orm runs like it should. any body know how to test/repair a segr? |

I would guess one of the solid state "things" that fools the MAF or whatever into thinking the EGR is working when it's not has died. Certainly possible. Check the builders thread at viewtopic.php?t=23033 and maybe contact folks. Of course the somewhat more sophisticated current solution is to pull the SEGR and replace with a GDE tune but that does cost some $s |

I've got one that I won't ever use if you wanted it. I think I gave $50 for it a year ago... I never assembled it and went the route of the diy mpps tune instead. For the $50 I have into it, it's yours. |

I screwed something up when I installed my SEGR. So I always have a CEL for the MAF circuit. I just live with it. EGR is blocked FCV is removed No worries |
