Hi. I know this has been posted before but after an hour looking around I can't fin it. What is the range of values for the mass airflow sensor if I'm trying to determine in what shape are the rockers?

This is a copy paste from one of Keith's posts: 17.5g/s is close to the factory 18.2g/s flow number and most likely the rocker arms are still in good shape. Flow rates below 15 g/s most likely exhibit some degree of rocker wear. Below 13g/s and all the rockers are wasted. |

IAT makes a difference. I monitor mine regularly and have seen as low as 17.5 at the height of summer up to 19.5 on the coldest winter mornings. Don't forget that any air that gets into the intake after the MAF is not being metered so all bets are off. |

Wow. Mine should be wasted then. I measured 11.3g/s yesterday but my Libby doesn't feel that it has lost any power at all. I try that test again today. Thanks for the replay.

I think Keith said to measure at warm engine while idling. Also, the values are at sea level. |
