Need 2006 Liberty CRD power steering bracket Need 2006 Liberty CRD power steering bracket Does anybody have the bracket that the power steering pump and tensioner pulley bolts to on a Jeep Liberty CRD diesel? Check the length of the bolt that holds your tensioner pulley on. Mine was only about 60 mm long. Only a few threads made it into the brace - about 3/8" or so. It eventually stripped out. There was at least another 1/2" of threads that were unused. It's doubtful that a longer bolt would have stripped out. You might be able to check to see if the tensioner bolt is long enough by looking at the back of the bracket with a mirror. IF you can not see the bolt from the backside I would get a longer M10x1.5 washer head bolt and install it. It calls for a 70 mm bolt. I used an 80 mm bolt with a nut on the backside after installing a threaded insert.
