Desperately trying to find the torque specs for the valve cover bolts on '06 CRD 2.8L. Can anyone help? My FSM was on a disc and refuses to open on my computer. Thanks, Dan |

Yes, the spec you want is for the Cylinder head / intake manifold bolts. I would suggest a bit higher than 18 ft-lbs however. This is one of the many "German" torque spec bolts that should be "gudentight" at about 25 lb-ft or so. |

Not my first go round on this, but I want to verify that the bolts that go from the transmission to the oil pan should be 33 Ft/lbs? I don't want to chance damaging this, and I don't see how this is "structural support" /FSM sucks... I think that's what I did on the last ones. I also just put the other transmission bolts dang tight, but this is the back of the oil pan. |
