06 CRD Halfway through hauling my 5000 lbs travel trailer through the cascade mountains, I lost all my bottom end torque. Turns out the plastic hose that goes from the VVT control solenoid to the VVT diaphragm / actuator melted a little. VVT went to the "Relaxed" position, and turbo stopped making boost. I have no idea what part number it is, and google is coming up short. Anyone happen to know or have it handy or have a link to a parts catalog that would have it? Here's a pic of the hose. ![]() anyone else have this issue? I was thinking of perhaps using a solid break line and vacuum hose to fab up a new one, but if I could order an off the shelf replacement, that would be better. cheers! |

In a pinch any parts store should be able to supply hard side vacuum line and usable end fittings if they are needed if you are on the road. If you want OEM go to http://colorado4wheel.com/manuals/Jeep/KJ/ and download the parts fiche; I think you can find the PN for what you want on Figure 14-630 of the 06 version |
