Post subject:  Fuel filter

I have spent hours looking for 2 and 5 micron diesel filters for a new twin filter installation in my Jeep. Delphi have a large range of filters but just can not find and specs on filtration etc. The 902 model looks like it should be high flow. Any one have any info on suitable filters that will fit the Delphi/Lucas twin filter head.

Well first off - Tech is really for solutions after people have solved the problem - so you don't get many views over here -

questions really need to be in the 'CRD....Love that Torque' section.

That said - if you scrolled down the Tech section a bit - you have a good writeup on installing a Racor fuel head

that's the style that came on the Euro 2.5L - and it works better than the stock 2.8 unit.

Bosch recommends at least 3 micron for the injectors - so the 2 micron filter works well -

although if you have a problematic fuel supply you might want an 8-10 micron prefilter
