Wow My 2005 CRD starts fine at 5.F But after plugging in overnight. The morning the initial start sounds much smoother.Plus I have some heat right away. Kayaker2 Bob |

Yes, they do sound much better at start up after being plugged in. I have my block heater on a timer. It runs for 3 hours before I start it to go to work. It works great. Saves some wear on the heater and saves some electric as well. |
