If your new AC condenser does not have the built in transmission cooler, it was not meant for a CRD.
You can keep this one if you want but you will now need a aftermarket transmission cooler.
And yes, sandwiching a aftermarket transmission cooler in between the AC condenser and electric fan will not work. You can try putting the trans cooler on the other side, between the radiator and engine, if there is room.

You should not and probably cannot run without a transmission cooler. If the AC condenser you got while physically, including the electric fan in front of it, you can easily fit an after market transmission coolers.

If you're in a bigger mod mood, you can ditch the condenser efan and go with a bigger and wider transmission cooler in front of the condenser and go with 2 7 or 8 inch efans, which will fit each on the side of front hood latch. But that's few good hours of work, I've done it but not sure if it is worth for you.

Well I kept the OEM oil cooler I removed and put a 10" and 12" efans on a diagonal and connected the 12" on low and the 10" on high

when I tested the OEM fan you had to have both blues connect to 12v to get high , so that means it will run the 12" on low and both will be on in high
