Hey guys. (and gals, hate to be sexist) We have our Libby torn down doing a head gasket and a few other things, and thought that the community might want to hear about it. The initial issue is a head gasket, but I have a torque converter for it, steel glow plugs, and are naturally curious so we pulled the motor out. This engine has had the full torque GDE tune since 100K miles or so, (we are at 152K) but the intake has a nice layer of yuck on the inside. We pulled the cams out and are tanking the parts. Looking like a Weeks kit might be a nice addition, the EGR valve has coolant lines that are trashed which easily could have caused a major event had they blown out at the wrong time.
