I want to take advantage of Seth's most excellent Stage-2 kit offer, and while I'm shipping an order from them I'd just as soon combine goodies in the box.

So, my question for an application on a 2006 CRD with 112K miles on 'er.

What says the hive?

Do we have a preference, before I type out the order?

149K miles.
- Timing belt done.
- Weeks Kit Stage 1.
- Weeks Kit Stage 2.
- JBA 2.5 inch Silver kit and UCAs installed at 125K miles.
- Weeks supplied Samco Intercooler Hoses and clamps.

Waiting for time, limber fingers, and good weather to do my HDS Model 001 Thermostat unit swap.

I am still using OE hoses and have a spare set to boot.

I am running the Samco hoses! They are very high quality hoses and have performed perfectly with the Weeks kit. Cannot speak to the other brands as have not ever seen them...

I asked this question (as a poll) on a previous post, but no one seemed to have much of an opinion either way. In addition to Samco, OEM, and Mishimoto, however, there are two other options:

1) a small outfit called Mr. Bobs (http://www.mrbobsdistributing.com/ distributes what seem to be high quality silicone hoses, albeit for a high price. You have to get him on the phone to place an order, as they do not offer the product on their website.

2) ID Parts is coming out with their own version of the hoses; expected availability date in June 1, 2015. Link: http://www.idparts.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=29_166&products_id=4804 I purchased these because of the price and ID Parts' reputation for quality.

Thanks for considering our CAC hose kit for your CRD! We use 4-ply silicone on these pieces along with heat resistant embedded fibers. Both of these factors result in a hose far more durable than the stock units in terms of both longevity and pressure/heat tolerance. Additionally we offer a lifetime warranty on this kit, ensuring that it is the last hose kit you will be purchasing.

Let me know if I can answer any additional questions about our kit!

Thanks
-John

Thanks for joining us Mishimoto, its always great to get the manufactures in the discussion. Now if only we could get someone to develop an all aluminum intercooler for the jeep (wink wink).

That would be great, but I think the manufacturing costs may not worth. Unless mishimoto makes that for non U.S. markets.
