What all comes with a longblock? Ie... Crank and case, turbo, Waterpump, fuel pump? |

Long blocks are normally going to come with everything contained inside the block such as pistons, rods, crankshaft and oil pump as well as a cylinder head not including cams or rockers. |

The difference between a short block and a long block can vary a bit from engine to engine and supplier to supplier but: 1. a short block generally consists of everything between the top of the pistons and the crankshaft 2. a long block is a short block plus the cylinder head including valve train and usually the rockers and cams, which in the CRD are in the valve cover. Best ask supplier to be sure. A long block might include exhaust manifold but I doubt it would include turbo, EGR, FCV, oil cooler, etc. |
