Ive purchases wheel bearings from these guys before for my Subaru Legacy. It seemed to be a nice part. They sell all sorts of jeep parts. http://detroitaxle.com/?s=Part%20Finder ... 76&pt=1267 |

My local Napa said that they had a part number, but couldn't find any in any warehouses in the U.S. Detroit Axle's website says that they do not have them for 2.8 when you put in that information. I tried to call them just to make sure, but gave up after being on hold for several minutes. Rocky Road Outfitters had them. Thanks for the help! |

You can probably take it to a local drive line shop and they can replace the CV's while reusing the shafts. |

NAPA can't get them anymore. I tried last week. I ended up using rockauto for my rig but haven't installed them yet so can't tell you if they fit as well as the NAPA OEM rebuilts I'm replacing. |

You could order 3.7 axles and swap out the shafts with your current axle shafts. The CV's are the same as the 3.7, only difference is the shaft length. Take all the left over parts back in for your core charge. If your not comfortable doing the work, then take it to a local drive line shop and have them do the swaps. |

Detroit Axle reconditions CVs, like the ones that NAPA sold. They also sell on eBay. I purchased both CVs, upper control arms, and lower ball joints from them. I haven't got them installed yet, but I compared their shafts against what I pulled out, and the length was the same. I gave $210 for the lot. And for $82, I'm also going to give a set of their hubs (unit bearings) a try. |

so you send them your parts and the spruce them up or they sell ready to go kits with core charge. |

No core charge on anything I have bought from Detroit Axle. The 'new' ones came complete. |
