I can't find the spin-on adapter part #s used by those who went with the amsoil bypass oil filter setup. Can anyone provide any info I need in order to select a spin on oil filter adaptor for my liberty crd?

AMSOIL WEBSITE: http://www.amsoil.com

Telephone: 1-800-956-5695

Spin-on adapter part #: BK295

It looks like you also require a better engine thermostat as well... contact me about this.

Best regards,

In case anyone else missed it, site location with adaptors and other parts is title "Bypass Filter Mount Replacement Parts"

Jeff, will be upgrading the thermostat but I made the mistake of buying/replacing with the OEM part 20km ago... Might swap it out earlier though.

I still havent figured out a good place to put my Amsoil Bypass unit that I have had for like 1.5 years. Partially laziness and partially because everywhere under the jeep is exposed. I just installed weeks stage 2 kit so I may try to mount the bypass where the EGR used to be.

You may be able to squeeze in a bypass filter where the airbox used to be if you go ahead and get an ARB snorkel. I am unsure if the installation of a snorkel will adversely affect engine performance, however. I hope somebody who has installed a snorkel can provide some feedback on this... :|

I KNOW that the installation of an ARB front bumper WILL give me enough room for a diesel fired engine heater; either a Webasto TSL17 or an Espar D5. How does firing up your engine for the first time in the day at -40 degrees outside and the engine already running at 170 degrees grab you? 8)
