Hey everyone, I just accidentally picked up a bunch of Mobile 1 M1-303 Oil Filters from amazon, and realized that I should have gotten the M1-301s. They look like they have almost identical stats side by side (except for the slight difference in Thread Size = 3/4"-16 vs 13/16"-16). Anyone know if these will these work interchangeably, or shall I spend the money to send them all back and get the M1-301s? Totally different threads: Thread Size/Major Diameter/Threads per Inch(TPI)/Tap Drill Range/Tap Drill/Tap Drill Decimal/Theoretical % of Thread 3/4-16 / 0.7500 / 16 / 0.6820 - 0.6908 / 11/16 / 0.6875 / 77.0% 13/16-16 / 0.8125 / 16 / 0.7450 - 0.7533 / 19mm / 0.7480 / 79.4% Send them back and swap for the right filter. |

Bypass pressure could be the other difference but that doesnt matter since the 303 wouldnt fit anyways. |

Amazon doesn't charge me to return stuff - they send a printable label, and send UPS back to get it. One big reason Amazon Prime is great. |

Agreed! .. Sent them back, and getting a full refund. Then I'll order the correct ones and have them sent. Thanks! |
