I've had right-side fuel leak since April purchase;

-'05, 150kish miles (odo dumped a few k after purchase at 139k)-
Seems to be slowly getting worse. Either that, or seller did some temp hide so minimal leakage for first 2k post-purchase.
Fuel leak conditions: Engine-on, increases w speed, DRY on LEFT side (US drivers), so not filter housing related (finally replaced fuel filter, greatly reduced throttle lag).
It would be great to have a list of likely culprits before I (currently no garage) or a shop turns wrenches.
Bought the advised lift pump in hopes of completely eliminating throttle/terb lag but seems very ill-advised until leak is remedied, lol.
Fuel leak does not seem to be affecting performance at all. Primer still reliably pressurizes system (primed post filter-replacement then once next morning, but fine after).
I love this thing. Wish I had a garage to knock out all recommended upgrades. With time...

BTW- MANY Thanks on FanClutch/11blade advice, improved Vegas summer-temps hot-prob 80%. Now only rises up-hill accel when >100f.
Vegas shop charged 200 labor; considering it was 112 out and they didn't have cooled bays (!!!), 200 seemed eminently fair!

No fuel system components on the right side of the vehicle that I'm aware of. I've recently stripped my left hand drive 05 Liberty completely down and all of my Jeeps fuel system components are down the left side of the chassis.

Can you post pics?

All the fuel lines from the tank run along the drivers side frame rail.
The fuel filter assembly is on the drivers side.
The injection pump and fuel rail are both on the drivers side of the engine.

Exactly where do you see fuel dripping from?

Very interesting that no fuel components located on right, leaking side. While installing a blue ox baseplate for RV toading, it looked like it was coming from the upper-right-forward area of the engine. Having wrenched far too extensively on ford 6.9's, I was expecting to hear that the injector pump or rail return or some funky fuel-related component was an obvious localized culprit. If that isn't the location of a typical fuel system wear/fail, I'll investigate further (clean and tissue test) when I have access to a garage. I'm not going to pay a shop to go on a ghost hunt when I normally carry that caliber. Sucks not having a garage.
Will report back after located and repaired.

Post Pictures. The fuel rail is completely on the Right (driver side) of the engine. The rail is over there, the CP3 pump is part of the timing belt assembly on the right side lower section. There isn't any fuel on the Passenger side. The Injectors pretty much split the center-line of the vehicle.

Basics:
1. remove plastic engine cover if not already removed;
2. degrease/clean engine ideally when slightly warm - any decent engine degreaser will do - rinse with low pressure hose. Do NOT use pressure washer.
3. let engine dry.
4. get yourself a helper and some clean dry paper towels
5. crank up engine have helper hold a high idle in park or neutral and use dry paper towels to check for leaks primarily from the input to the CP3 (fuel pump) on up past the injectors to the fuel return line off the back of the injector rail. Be careful around the plastic return line block as it is breakable but can be replaced with standard hardware store brass plumbing pieces.

My bet is you have a small leak on the high pressure side that's spraying fuel off toward the turbo side or there is a leak in the fuel line return block and "wind" in the engine bay is channeling fuel that way.

You would think there would be a massive pool of fuel on the top of the head if it were the injectors or anything up there.

Yeh maybe unless it's a pinhole. That said I ask the OP if you are positive that it's diesel fuel. Yes I know that may sound like a stupid question but could also be oil. Asking another "stupid" question - when you say left vs. right do you mean looking forward from the driver's seat (US side since you mention Vegas) or looking back at the engine from in front of the radiator? I ask because most all of the fuel related components are on the right side when viewed from the front.

Update:
The problem was a slightly loose #4 injector fuel-supply line.
Fuel was leaking at back of engine down passenger side.

I've had right-side fuel leak since April purchase;
