Post subject:  Selling advice.

Hello all,
As much as I hate it, the time has come for me to sell my tractor. I need a truck and my wife doesn't want to get rid of her Patriot. I was thinking on $8500, what do you guys think?
It is a 2005 limited with all the equipment except heated seats. It has 112000 miles with GDE transmission and engine tune since I bought it 5 years ago with 68k miles. The radio was updated to an JCV touchscreen with Bluetooth connectivity and Kicker speakers. It does not need anything at all and runs solid.
Any advise on where to advertise it? anyone interested?
Thanks.

If you have no luck selling it, then keep it as spare and hop in a ram EcoDiesel or Colorado crd. Ram has already gde tune available and Colorado will have it very soon, gde is working on it.

I don't think 8500 is a lot, though you may find people willing to pay less. If you don't have any obvious mods, like visible accessories and wires, then you can also work on a deal if you trade in when getting a truck, if you'll get one from a dealer. Dealers don't like mods...

My opinion: never trade these things in. The stealerships will not give you a decent value. All they see is an old Liberty, and will usually give the old line that we've all heard a gazillion times, "I didn't even know they made those with diesels?!"

Sell it here or on eBay.

Again, just my :2cents:

I wish I could keep it as spare!! and 8500 is a very good price considering the extra good condition it is in.

I WILL NEVER TRADE IT, my Libby is only transferable to another owner willing to take care of it as much as I have. Also, I am still hoping I can some how avoid selling it, I have not even put a sign on it. :pepper:

Good - try to find a way to hang onto it, you will never find anything like it. The only reason I am thinking of selling mine after it is fixed is that I bought it as a restoration project and I need moving money.
