1. Yes. Front diff has a drain plug, rear doesn't so you have to use RTV to seal. 75/90 if you're only going onroad, 75/140 if your going offroad or towing. Manual says synthetic, others on here say dino, Steve Fagioli at FTE 4x4 prefers semi synthetic. If you have the tracloc diff in the rear, also 120ml Mopar additive. 2. ATF+4 3. If its an auto box then ATF+4; if its manual, no idea - look in your handbook. The dipstick is usually for an auto box; I don't think the manual box has one, but I'm not certain. Get the workshop manual, there is a download address on here somewhere(or there used to be), and I'm pretty sure that the link is on Jeep Owners Club or Jeep Club UK. This will also help - https://en.m.wikibooks.org/wiki/Jeep_Li ... _Intervals |

UKJeep wrote: What's the RTV to seal. RTV is a silicone-based sealant that comes in a tube. Look it up on Youtube if you're not sure how to apply it. UKJeep wrote: Lol and 75/90 is this the oil ? That would be 75w90 gear lube I assume. |

Enter RTV into amazon's search box:) Its a silicon sealant in a tube and as I recall is usually black. I fitted a Lubelocker gasket to the rear diff about 70k miles ago and its been fine, but the RTV is cheaper! Yep 75/140 or 75/90 gear oil (synthetic/semi synthetic/mineral -up to you) gear oil - Halfords, Amazon, Opie Oils. Mopar friction additive - I STRONGLY suggest that you get this through Amazon.com, not amazon.co.uk. The ad on the uk website is from a supplier in Germany, and the price for 1 bottle is horrific. Way cheaper to order from the US amazon site and their shipping is a LOT cheaper too. |
