I don't seem to see the glow plug light any more. Before with the OEM glow plugs, when I turn the key, I usually briefly see the glow plug light for 1/4 of a second or so. Did something get screwed up? Or maybe the weather is way too warm?

That isn't a "glow plugs are being used this much" light, as much as it is a "wait to start" light.

The glow plugs are used even when the temperature is above 50 and after the engine is running, but yeah... It is probably just WAY too warm. There is a test procedure for the gauges to check all the lights for operation. IIRC, it is turn the key on while holding the trip odometer button in, and let go when the test cycle starts. Dash should light up like a christmas tree.

Is it possible that something went wrong with the new glow plug installation?

Pretty sure you'd have a CEL if it did. The glow plug circuit works really well with regards to problems.

Yeah, what Nick said. You'd have an idiot light and a code pretty fast, of the P1267/65/63/61 variety.

No codes, no problem mon. :5SHOTS:
