Anyone else out there suffer from broken torque converter bolts, especially on the Suncoast? I found a thread from 2009 that someone else had this issue. My Suncoast and flex plate are now junk. Thinking of going with the Euro, since I now tow with the Ram EcoD and the Jeep will just be used for towing light and easy to tow trailers (small 16' sailboat and popup camper).

I don't own a Suncoast TC, but it looks like you may be able to drill and tap new holes in the outer ring since I believe it is billet.

Found this as well,

This happened to me I drilled out the TC and heli coiled it. I used red Loctite when I put it back together and also torqued to 30 ft lbs. The Suncoast is too expensive to just throw away...

Looks like I am going to go to 10mm on the bolts. 8mm are obviously too small.
