…has anyone done this? I want to protect my night vision and was curious if anyone has a suggestion for sourcing high-output LED's to replace the factory white incandescents. The manual calls for type 192 for the map light and two type 214's for the rear dome light. |

Possibly--the issue I see with the 192 replacements is one of compatible size of the lighting element. The base may work, but I'm not sure about the width of the LED portion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I did this with the Map lights in my 2006 GTO and it was pretty nice. Try these guys: https://www.superbrightleds.com/ They have a whole bunch of colors and outputs to choose from typically. You should be able to put in your year, make and model and they will tell you what bulbs you need. I was thinking about switching mine to LED's just for better light output. |

FYI, it looks like the lights on the vanity mirrors are some custom part number but are the same size as the 6612F style bulb on superbright LEDs |
