ok, I did some research in here and found good info on the SEGR mod, but no where on how to make it/buy it. I see someone was making and selling this, but the post was from 2007. Any leads or ideas on how to make one or buy one? |

No one's been building them is ages although I suspect someone has the schematics. As I recall all it does is turn of the EGR without triggering a CEL. While it costs a lot more a GDE tune will do the same thing and much more. If you don't want to spend the $ for a GDE tune, I suggest you should, but do want to turn off the EGR with no CEL there are plenty of DIY tunes that will turn off the EGR for the cost of a PC connection cable, ca. $20 |

The egr delete kits and diy tunes have eliminated the need for the segr. I still have my segr kit installed. Mainly because Im too lazy to figure out how to unwire it from the system. |

I've got one floating around, I think it needs to be built and then wired in, but yeah, the DIY tunes or the GDE tune is a much better option in concert with the elbow kit or some other form of blocking plate. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
