Hey guys long time no speak.. that's because the truck has been behaving.. after replacing the crankshaft sensor which in a UK version kj is a PIG by the way.. 2 punctures is all I have had go bad... until now.
It's winter here and cold so he's playing up naturally. .. it is struggling to start when cold.. the glow plug light goes off instantly.. so what should I look at??I have bled the fuel.. and that brings me onto 2nd issue.. the brass screw on top of my filter housing the bleed screw was bollocked up to tight once and I noticed when bleeding off I cannot tighten it as it's started to pull the threads out.. I looked for a new one on Internet but cannot find anything? Any ideas where to get one? It's the one with white plastic bleed pump on the top. Thanks in advance

I think if I'm correct, you have the first version which was a racor. So it's different than what we have across the pond. If all else fails you might need to go with the updated version fuel head that id parts carries. As for the cold starts. Air in fuel definitely won't help. Are there any codes for glowplugs? If you have updated them to the metal ones than its normal. The metal ones don't get as hot but hey it's better than a ceramic breaking off and causing damage

Thanks for the reply. I have no codes nothing.. I do..however have a stupid leisure better on it.. it only has 80 amperes. ... will this make a difference. .. the sensored word has died on me 3 times..
The injectors are new .. bosch ones previous owner replaced instead of the cranks shaft sensor :-) I don't know if it has fuel in the air cos no matter what I do it stays the same.. 2 long cranks to start... then puffs to life.. runs sweet as a nut though. ..

Not sure if your guys set up is the same as ours. But for us a factory replacement is the etechno 7 volt metal. Bosch makes a 5 volt metal plug but that requires a computer flash for us
