Has anyone changed the bearings in the fan bracket? Is it possible? I was thinking of attempting it and if it didn't work out just buy the new one. Mine is was rough last time I checked it and a new one from the dealer is $350 cnd. From Id parts with shipping and exchange is probably at least $300. If the pully is press fit I'm assuming you need a bit of heat to remove it. After that I'm not sure. Sent from my SM-G920W8 using Tapatalk |

id parts.com fan pulley and bracket is 200.00 I believe, no exchange needed. I'm sure the bearing is replaceable, if you have a good hydraulic press and a torch. goodluck! |

Anyway I'll just buy a new one and then experiment with the old one. Sent from my SM-G920W8 using Tapatalk |

No import fees on mail(hence usps). |

My fan bracket bearing went out Thursday and I'm waiting on 2nd day air shipping to bring me a new one. I am stranded at home and I'm unsure if I have all the tools required to change it. Can someone give a list of the tools needed so I can have someone bring them to me? |

13mm socket and ratchet possibly a 15mm socket, can't remember large adjustable wrench; I think I bought either a 15" or 18" and it worked well |

I don't remember what size for sure is the one that releases and resets the serpentine belt tensioner, but you'll probably want a box end for that. 15mm? |
