Do a serach cause there is a thread a month or to ago about a peep getting a CRD into cali. I know it can be done as I've also read where several peeps have gotten TDI's and CDI's into cali as well. |

what I heard was you cant register one into Cali until it has 7000 miles on it. So get it registered in a family members name in another state. wait till it has 7K and register it in Cali. Good luck... |

filipi wrote: HELLO EVERYONE You have to find a used one with at least 5000 or 10,000 miles (not sure exact amount) from either a dealer that has registered one in an adjoining state or even maybe buy one from a member here. I am sure some are on a lease and will be turning them in before much longer. Heck I will sell the wife's '05 CRD if the $$$ were right and throw her in to boot, maybe that way I could get her out my hair?
