!!!!HOLY CRAP!!!!

I ordered my Liberty 3 weeks ago, and they said Jeep was still making the liberty, and that they had accepted my order. Today i get a call from the salesman saying that Jeep ran out of Diesel engines!! WTF am i supposed to do now?? Theyre not making another Diesel till 2008!! Do I complain to Jeep, or to the dealership, or to the news or what. Im PISSED OFF NOW :evil:

If you guys could help me out in this circumstance it would be great. I just dont know what to do about this. I so had my mind made up about a new Jeep Liberty Limited. Too Bad.

Tell them to trade around and get you a diesel liberty!

There *ARE* unsold diesel limited Liberties still on the lots out there.

They need to get one for you and make it yours.

Was this at Superstition Springs Chrysler Jeep? They had 8 in stock a couple weeks ago. You may not be able to get the exact options you want anymore but I'm sure you can find one.

Special Agent's idea is a good one... Your dealer owes you at least this much. If he can't find you a vehicle, post your story with his name on every website like this you can find to warn others about his bad habit :wink:

Also check ebay or other places where online dealers are available. I bought mind online with a dealer in NC and have been largely happy with the final transaction. If you buy online, you need to be very specific on the terms and conditions to avoid surprises (I suppose you need to do this with face-to-face transactions too :roll:

).

The same thing happened to me. My salesman and I looked around till we found one almost exactly like I wanted. Dont give up yet there are plenty out there especially if you are flexible with a few options.
