I need some help on this new problem. Had some problems with ABS and Brake light but changed out rear sensor to clear up. Now I noticed that AC switch light not lighting but AC blowing cold. Replaced fuse but it keeps blowing while driving within 3 minutes. Rear defrost is deactivated (wire pulled off glass 7 years ago). Does the temp blending door have power on all the time or just when using the temp control? I was able to blend temp prior to fuse blowing? Any other ideas? |

Fuse 25 supplies power to more than the blend door actuator. You'll need to isolate the circuit. You probably have other circuits that don't work also. ![]() Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk |

@rjmaype what year is your CRD? HER_CRD has got some good advice for you with the picture that he posted.....you will need to download the complete wiring diagrams for your year CRD by downloading the relevant year Service manual here: http://www.colorado4wheel.com/manuals/Jeep/KJ You then will need to isolate the various branches of the wiring coming off the fuse 25 to see what is blowing the fuse....you will see Splice S318 goes off to another page which means that on that page you will have to isolate more components and there may be more splices again taking you to other pages. I will have a closer look at the circuitry once you have informed me as to your year CRD....2005 has some wiring differences to the 2006! To fix this problem yourself you will need a cheap digital Multi meter and the relevant wiring diagrams in your possession...I can then advise you on what to check. A mechanic is not much use in a wiring issue like this...you need to take your wiring diagrams to an Auto Electrician to find an electrical issue! Another reason I asked for the year of your CRD is that the 2006 LHD CRD has a known problem with the wiring harness going behind the Fuel Filter Mounting Bracket where it can be forced down against the chassis which cause random shorting of wires to chassis there. So if you have a 2006 CRD...remove that bracket and have a good look at the wiring there for damage. When I was in Computer Mainframe support I used to carry a few DC trip switches of various Amp ratings to wire into fuse holders so that I could reset to breaker...say one rated at 10 A....while diagnosing the problem instead of chewing up fuses. Maybe Radio Shack or some place similar in the USA has small DC circuit breakers for you! |

Thanks for the help with the wiring diagram for fuse 25. Model is 2005 year I think I will try isolating components. Circuit breaker a good idea and I will look around for one. Most Radio Shacks nearby have closed this year. |

Most auto parts shops have auto sized breakers as well. I got a 20A one from AutoZone for the HHO system on my Ford E350. |
