Sorry if this has been posted before but the search results came back with over 200 pages.

I am trying to install factory skid plates. They came with a bolt/nut tool for atttaching a threaded sleeve into the frame rail. The sleeve easily slides in and out of the frame rail. I assume the tool is supposed to cruch the sleeve so it will stay in the frame but I can't seem to make it work. How is this tool supposed to work? :?:

Thanks

It seems weird but it works. Thread the insert on the end of the tool, hold it flush in the hole and turn the main bolt part of the tool while holding the smaller collar from turning with a wrench. Let me know if this does not make sense.

Thanks TDI4BY. I was getting confused because the tool had another piece threaded on that wasn't needed.
