OK, Now that I have it I need to decide how to keep her running forever. The only problem is that I'm not a wrench. All I do is change my own oil, wiper blades, add fluids, etc. Any advice for a newbie? Also, can I get any warranty work done at the local Dodge dealer instead of the Jeep dealer that I bought it at? I also have a Dodge truck and they have always taken care of me there. Thanks.

Welcome to LOST qdog! Congrats on a great purchase!

There are too many opinions on how to keep the little beast running forever. I'll let others answer your question on that since I'm the kind of guy that broke the truck in by driving it hard and haven't added anything like a Provent to it.

But I will say that a Dodge dealer "should" service your Jeep. I suggest trying it because they will have a lot more experience with diesels. Call 'em and ask 'em. I'm thinking about doing the same thing locally.

Stopped by our Dodge dealer today and he told me that they heard of the liberty diesel's but none tof their guys had been the "school". Sounds like he is not really up for servicing it. Hmmm

If you can find a dealer that sells both you'll be on the right track.
