We live in eastern WA but will be making a trip to the Seattle area next weekend. We can only get B5 here (but will be making our own soon) and would like to fill up on B99 while we're there. We'll be staying in Renton but doing the market, waterfront, etc while we're there. My inlaws are visiting from MN and they've never been to Seattle so we'll be hitting the touristy things. So, where is a good place to buy B99 while we're there? My brother did fill up somewhere in the U-District when we went to the biodiesel conference at Magnuson park but I don't know if we'll be in that area. I'm more familiar with downtown and West Seattle. Thanks so much, Annie |

I recommend, especially since you are staying in Renton, that you travel North on the 509 freeway to the Seaport Biofuels station. It is a little bit off the freeway, but you can get directions at www.mapquest.com, www.maps.google.com or even at their website http://www.seaportbiofuels.com/ 7800 Detroit Ave SW, Seattle Wa 98106 is the location. They've got B99 biodiesel at $2.99/gallon (last I checked). I fuel up here weekly. You can roll up and use your credit card at the pump just like a normal gas station. Hope this helps. |

You can also hit the Issaquah Grange, just off of I-90. http://www.turbofroggy.com/grange.htm I've fueled up both here and at Seaport Biofuels. I've been pretty happy with both. And both stations are at $2.99/gal right now. What I love the most about fueling up with B99 is that there is NO bad smell with the fuel. It's great! You get it on your hands and it just smells like you've been making stir-fry, and the rig doesn't give off noxious fumes either. Heh... my keyboardist says it smells like someone farting chinese food tho... but I think he's just smoking crack... |

Thanks so much, Annie Coming from I90 WestBound, go off on exit 17 Issaquah, turn left, pass under the highway, second light turn left again and you'll find the famous Triple XXX (60's style restaurant with great rootbeer and burgers!) on your left and the Grange on your right... With a fill up you'll be good for the weekend for sure, and you can take another fill on your way back! Welcome! |

If you ever come east and north there is a B20 source in Spokane. |
