Hmm...

This is probably a good reminder to pop the rear diff cover and drain/clean all the old stuff out and refill with fresh oil.
Also to check the condition of the breather tube. I was in some deep water last month.

Speaking of deep water, and PM's.
there is a very short factory vent pipe on top of the transmission that just vents to atmosphere.
The factory OEM vent on top of the transfer case connects to a rubber hose and goes all the way to a high point on the firewall.
Why in the heck the factory bean counters did it this way is beyond me! The transfer case vent hose passes right by the transmission vent location.
When I first got my Liberty, I cut this long vent hose in the area above the transmission, added a brass "Tee" in it, and then connected a short piece of rubber hose to the vent on top of the transmission and put clamps on all the connection points.

If you have not already done this simple and very cheap mod, and think you will be traversing any deep water, you should consider doing it.
It may just save you a transmission! :juggle:

Thanks for the link.

I think it might be my problem, I toped off the rear diff and had water in oil !

How in the world did you get water in the oil of the rear differential; you been fording a bunch of streams or rivers?

I drained and refilled the diff with new sensor in and it's working again.

The rear speed sensor had been replaced 4 months ago, looks like the water in the diff oil could have played a role here !!!
