well i think im having a torque converter problem. my RPM's do not drop that fast in all gears and it doesnt go to idle when off the gas while moving. what were some of the symptoms that other people had with torque converter problems?

Mine goes to idle unless I am driving in 4th or 5th then it doesn't until I have slowed enough to unlock the TC. I was wondering if that adversely affected mileage on a long downhill run at highway speeds.
