Post subject:  Front drive shaft bolts
When I got my jeep the front drive shaft was blown in half, I pulled it out and of course lost the bolts. I bought a new one (factory is discontinued and I had issues with the local part store one) and it did not come with bolts or the "washers". Looking around online it looks like I need 05015996AA and 05015109AA, but thats going to be along the lines of $85 from any site I could find. Anyone know of a cheaper place to get them/ if I can just use some hardware store bolts without the washers?

They should be the same as the bolts from the gas Liberties, so if you don't mind used any junkyard should have them. Whether you can get them to pull just the bolts I don't know. If you have a pull-a-part type place you should be able to get them yourself for next to nothing.

If you know the length of the bolts, just order some metric allen bolts of the correct length. I believe the thread is 8mm X 1.25.
Install using some medium strength blue loctite along with some lock washers or star type lock washers and you will be just fine.
