I got this PN from here a while back and got one from Advance Auto. It doesnt seem to thread on. Anyone else have an issue with this part ? This is supposed to be the upgraded, greased decoupler. Thanks |

The metal spacer did not come off the alternator shaft with the old pulley. The new pulley would not thread on with the spacer still attached. I had to use a screwdriver to carefully pry the spacer off the shaft. I also had to clean up the threads on the shaft with a metric die. I used an impact to spin the old pulley off and it buggered the threads slightly. |

Pried that off and the 920834A went right on, The spacer that was on the alternator shaft is not readily apparent and appears like it belongs there. Thanks ! |
