I believe he is talking about the oil (change) service reminder in the EVIC in the roof.

Can't get rid of the red oil light nag. I installed a OH console from a donor Liberty a few years ago. About 9 months ago the oil nag crops up but goes dormant after about a week or so, but then returns some time later. All the other functions are working as they should, but can't seen to get rid of the nag. Tried resetting the oil change interval, but that didn't work. Maybe I'm not resetting it correctly? |

You’re talking about the oil pressure warning light, correct? You probably need a new oil pressure switch. |

Red oil light on the dash is the oil pressure sender, has nothing to do with the service indicator. The sensor is next to the oil filter. |

Duralast Oil Pressure Switch PN: PS401 or O'Reilly's Standard Ignition 3 Terminal Oil Pressure Switch Part #: PS317
