Hi all, Can someone give me a measurement of the OEM 2006 Liberty CRD oil dipstick length? I just changed oil and filter. I put 6.3qt of oil in and ran the engine for a few minutes and let it sit for 4 hours. When I tried to check the oil level, I don't see any oil at the bottom of the dipstick. Either there's a blackhole inside the diesel engine or the dipstick is too short. Yes, it's on level ground. Please share the length of your 2006 CRD oil dipstick. Thank you. |

Run the engine a few minutes then shut it off for a few minutes and check the oil. Do not wait 4 hours ! |

No luck. It has some oil on the edge of the dipstick (same as before, I forgot to mention it), but nothing at the bottom. Could you please measure how long your engine oil dipstick is? Thanks. |

Did you take into the account for the oil it took to fill the filter? |
