Bone yard or finding someone parting out an engine is going to be your best options since they are no longer available from Mopar dealers new.
I could not find one anywhere on line! :banghead:

Just curious. How in the world did the original one get damaged? It's not an easy thing to wreck.

No idea, the serpentine belt was pretty new, soon as i heard weird noises and pulled over to discover the belt was shredded and the bracket had broke where it bolts to the block, dont know who broke first.

What about your belt tensioner & tensioner pulley, mechanical fan pulley, belt idler pulleys, etc... did any of the other pulleys get damaged too?
Seems like it would take a lot of force to damage that cast aluminum bracket!
Did one of the pulleys freeze up? :?:
Sorry for all the questions; but you are the first that has ever reported this that I know of. Very unusual.... :ALONE:

First thing I suspected was a frozen pulley, but no, they were all spinning. If you look at the bracket closely, the area around the bolts are not supported evenly, it broke at where it bolts to the block.

Maybe the belt broke and twisted onto itself around the power steering pulley, then bend the bracket until it broke, maybe thats by design. luckily nothing else were damaged.

I have had the same exact problem. Found a bracket in salvage yard replaced it and few weeks later it broke again. All the bearings and pulleys spin freely with no play. Also each time it happened the serpentine belt has stayed intact with no damage at all. Any insight on this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tested your one way override clutch on your alternator?
Viscous Heater or AC compressor clutch high load when electric clutch is engaged?
Something has got to be loading your belt very heavy to break that bracket!

I never even thought about the alternator override clutch tested that this morning and it was bad. I'm assuming that it's probably putting too much of a load on the system and causing it to snap that pulley by the vibrating forces. Thanks forthe help hopefully this helps others too.

To test the alternator one way clutch override/decoupler (OAD) pulley:
Pop the protective plastic cap off the alternator pulley and look for any signs of red dust (rust), if you see any, replace alternator pulley.
You can also test the alternator pulley with the plastic cap off by holding the alternator shaft with a wrench and turning the pulley by hand. You should be able to turn the pulley by hand in only one direction with some resistance. (override clutch). If you cannot, it is locked up and should be replaced! If it does not function, it will put a lot of added strain on the other belt pulleys, belt tensioner spring, mounting brackets, etc...

Quote:
NOTE: The tensioner spring can get weak with age and will not keep proper tension on the serpentine belt allowing it to bounce, especially at idle, which puts added strain on all the other pulleys and mounting brackets. While you have the belt off to replace pulleys, you may want to go ahead and replace the tensioner pulley assembly as well...

Tested the overide clutch on altenator and is good according to the test you suggested and belt tensioner feel stiff and tight to move. Im still puzzled on what to check next. This is driving me nuts not being able to drive my crd. Hoping for more ideas on what else to check before i install another pump bracket.

Did you ever find out the problem? There are only 3 possible (clutched) things it could be. Alternator, viscous heater or AC compressor. You could possibly unplug the VH / AC and run power to it to engage the clutch (with the belt off) and see which is ceased up. I don't know how many miles you have on the alternator clutch but it probably wouldn't hurt to have it replaced with a new one.
