After a few days back and forth with the salesman, i Finally closed the deal on a 06 Liberty CRD. Its the sport with sunroof and rear organizer. It was a dealer demo, so i picked it up for $7000 CDN under list price, with only 8,000Km on it, plus i don't pay the freight and air tax!!

Picking it up next week, :D

When I see the US national debt http://www.brillig.com/debt_clock/ approching 9 Trillion$ I would bet the canadian paper money is back up with real gold

That's a great deal you got there, welcome to the club! :)

Aaah the gold as a back up, I don't think it help to prevent the greatest depression (1929) we have ever seen.

Anyway it was said as a joke and not to be taken serious. It was just always momentarly confussion when seeing something priced in dollars when in Australia, Canada or that little island that China refers to as a rebel break away state that had such huge bottles of beer for a dollar that was in fact about 1/5 th of the value of a US dollar in the 60's when I was there as a young kid.

Man you would never know that I taught HS for several years by the way I write in these forums.

Goes to show that the old saying "if you don't use it, you loose it" is ever so true.

Man I have 2 degrees and can't spell crap, do but 1/2 stupid puncuation, I have started using run on sentences like crazy. And all this thanks to military abrevations, spell check and chat forums. I remember arguing with fellow instructors (HS & college) that the chat forums and e-mail would bring back writing skills, and instead it has worsened the problem and to add insult to injury it has even had that negative effect on me. The one good thing is we are at least widing our cirle of people we talk to, but on the other hand are we loosing our in person ability to deal with people and isolating ourselves more then normal since maybe the early frontier days of this country.

LOL

at least, like, its not, like, you know, like, those young kids, like, that, like, you know, like, put "LIKE" like everywhere :D

And of course I was just having a blast too with that conversion stuff, it can be so confusing! I remember in 2000 when i move here from Canada, when i was sending 100$US to pay bills back home it landed on the account as 140$CAN... ah the good old days!

I remember this from a psychology (yes that was my major) class back in the day, how the brain will reconstruct the words. I had no trouble at all reading the paragraph. It does however require you to use all the proper letters in the word, and the first and last letters to be correct. If you use letters not actually in the word then the mind will not be able to read the word correctly.
