| Post subject: | Dynomax exhaust system? |
Looking around for a system. Dynomax has a 2006 CRD sound clip on their site so I would assume they endorse it for the diesel. The system they use is #19392 available from Summit racing for $230. Dynomax claims their muffler flows much better than others. There are a few posts here about using a Dynomax muffler but no follow up. |

Personally, if you don't live in the south< I'd stay clear of the Dynomax. I had ran one on my SHO with no issues, but that was in SC. My mom has the same exhaust on her SHO and has replaced the mufflers twice, and had another section replaced. |

Don't spend the money on an expensive exhaust system. The turbo chops the exhaust stream so finely you can't really hear the differences between systems. I'd just get an inexpensive glasspack welded in place of the factory muffler. I was able to get it for less than $100, and it sounds great IMO. |
