| Post subject: | Plug On Oil Pan Opposite Oil Filter Mount |
Can anyone verify that this port on the front end of the oil pan is a low pressure oil port? I can't imagine it being a high pressure port but I remember someone saying a while back that it'd be a good source to supply a bypass filter. Does anyone know of any high pressure oil source on this engine aside from the oil sender port or the use of an oil filter sandwich adapter? |

This port is located on the bottom-left corner of the oil pan on the side nearest the engine, if that helps. Mike |

Mike Here is a link to photo's at my website that Greg took of a new oil pan Jeep Stuff and you might contact him at Lubrication Specialist and ask him if he knows it it is a non pressure port.
