Very impressive! Is this mileage for a stock KJ or have you done stuff to it? Either way, great number. |

Thats with the front lifted 1 1/2", K&N drop in, and synthetic oils...reducing speed is the key here. My power-crax No-slip mucho, did help the MPH a bit too. If you are only driving 20 to 30 miles you ain't saving any "real" time by going 70 plus...lots of gas though. Mine is a 4x2 though...Libby is an awsome 4x2 This will change a bit when I switch to M/T's and install my ECTED though. "If you choke a smurf, what color does it turn?" They turn black. |

I've found that speed has everything to do with it. Past few long trips I took indicated at 70+ mph, I get about 18 mpg. Whenever I hold the speed to 65, I'm over 21 mpg. |

I actually found the magic number (time/mpg) to be 66mph for me which is right on par with yours. If I'm going any distance I drive 66mph. Man, you got a roof rack too? I'm without. |

Wow is right... I haven't touched that yet.. best I've been able to do was 24.05 or so on a highway trip... but I think I could have gotten 25 out of my trip if I hadn't had to idle in bumper to bumper traffic for about 45 minutes during that tank.... Luis |
