If I remember this right, the picture in your first post is from media coverage early in the Liberty's release. That was part of the reason for the decision by DC to lower the ride height of the Liberty, giving us the coveted 'Pre-Lowered' version.

that has been posted around alot on the internet and once i had read that it was not even a jeep...i don't remember exactly what they said it was, they could have been wrong though...
