With wheeling in the sand like that, have you found any unusual wear and tear on your rig? I would think that the sand getting in places like brakes, engine etc. would lead to disaster.

Generally:

- Air Filter needs to be washed and oiled eveytime
- Break, not really...I actually hardly use the breaks, such a different approach in driving when you are on sand, it is the gear I use mostly and clutch.
- In 4 years, only once the cv joint cover had to be replaced.
- Had few problems with sensors all around...most where fixed after a good clean

My DVD player got screwed. I folded the screen in and the joints where full of sand :( My brilliant friend decided to spray it with WD40...everyting came out of place.

I got some new good rocky trip pics that i will post soon...and videos

[quote="Jeep4me99"]kinda funny that TJ has a snorkle in the middle of the desert,

The snorkle is very effective in dusty conditions. That's why so many Aussie Jeeps run them as well.

I use all terrain Coopers STT and loving them. Others are with Kumho...works great but loud on main road.

Now if you can afford mickey thompson tires that would be nice.
