plus yours is red :D .. although i like the black with my color KJ the red i think looks much much better on the black. but hey.. any lift is better than no lift! i could've sworn yours (03kjsport) was much taller than what you say it is.. perhaps you should re-measure.

Incubusmike- measurements on level ground are always more accurate than on slopes.. but i'm sure it wouldnt change that much. annnnd i love your tires!! my AT"s just dont cut it in the mud... at all...
it's a great sign when it no longer fits in the garage :).. something changed for the best haha

03kjsport, you get better articulation too though right? So you didn't spend the extra dough for nothing.

2006 kj, the new tires do look mean. They hum pretty good going along on the roads too. I measured again and it is now 23 1/4" from wheel center to fender. So I gained an inch on flat ground.
Sweet 8)

I wish my skids, the springs, and the control arms were deep dark red. No luck. I love red and black together. Red is my favorite color.

same here.. i'd much rather have a black KJ over my red one.. but it's not very practical since i dont have washing materials readily available most the time. soo with your new measurements i guess it will (and mine did) settle a little. it'll still look bad booty though! my next set of tires will be mudders :)

Is your KJ an 06 ?
cause mine looks identical, black and everything.
Now that i have seen yours with the Frankenlift and know what mine would look like, it really makes me want the frankenlift for mine.
I guess i'll just have to start saving some $$
did you install it yourself?

Interesting to see how it all measures out, of course the biggest difference is when you factor in the tires, since I dropped mine back down some waiting on Als arms I am with in 3/4 of an inch from hub to flare of 2006KJs but floor to flare there is 2 inches difference!!!
Need some 4.10s for my rear ( front diff with 4.10s laying in the garage waiting  ) and the taller tires

It is an 05. I blacked out all my chrome badging with bedliner, front and rear. I did install it myself. It took 5 1/2 hours with me doing it by myself for pretty much the entire first half, then my dad helped in the rear.

Project KJ is looking outstanding Mike, I'm jealous. That custom roof rack looks rugged as hell, well done!!

If by rugged you mean poorly welded, then yes. But seriously, it turned out really well. It is stout and holds all my gear that I specifically made it to hold without any problems whatsoever. Thanks. :D
