Went out to the White Tank Mountains the other day with a LJ, TJ, JK, and a XJ. It was an interesting time (you'll see why below)!

Had a rock press up the bead causing a loss of air. It managed to re-seat itself no problem, but was scary as he11 hearing a giant gush of air like that :shock:

Here the tire is getting filled back up. Luckily the guy behind me had a Warn winch with an aircompresser built into it, it was friggin sweet.

Then is when the fun started. The guy with the XJ had a minor mis-hap.

No, the strap was there to hold the axle from dropping down when the XJ was jacked up. It was an ordeal because we couldn't get down off the rock so the whole procedure was done at about a 45 degree angle. The guy had spares axle shafts with a new steering knuckle (I think what the stuff was called). He drove it off the trail then onto a trailer for the ride home.

It was a fun day. I have never been witness to anything crazy like that. If that happened to me, I have no idea what I would of done :shock:

The guy with the XJ laughed and got down to work.

Fun trail, cool area. i ran my XJ through their a few years back.
Common problem on the XJ/TJ etc, break the u-joint and it all binds up forcing the ball joint to pop.

I'm going to go see Doc from VJC this coming week! Plus they were all bent up from the CK run a couple months ago. I don't think I banged em up this time out, came pretty close but didn't hit them.

FJ trip? I have never been out there. One of these days though I'll get out there. Someone said something about running Elvis :twisted:

Why thank you kind sir. I have a daystar 2.5 inch spacer lift and am running 245/75/16 Goodyear MT/R's. The daystar lift seems to be pretty popular at first (because it is cheap) but it also seems like many replace with a better suspension lift after the stock struts and springs wear out. It came on there when I bought it. I'll be replacing with better components once they start to wear out.

Doc is the man. Look up "Inc" sliders on here. Have Doc do something similar. Mike (Inc) did a great job with his and they come out really flush with the sides. I have a set that hasn't been installed if you want them ($70). It's almost useless for me to install them now cuz mine are so bent up. They were bent for my KJ, and will still need the rectangle/square tube run to the "frame" rails.

Whoops, thought I saw you at the flagpole last weekend, musta been another guy. Elvis=:evil: Have a look at mine and you'll know why I'll never run it again in the Liberty :lol:
