These few pages cover the most popular options. You're welcome to try other products, but being a guinea pig can have its drawbacks too. That's why I stuck with a Daystar lift. They've been around for about as long as the Liberty itself. If you just want to gain height, it's a good way to go. Won't do anything to improve the ride, but you can do that by installing better aftermarket shocks and struts without having to lay out all that money at once. It's good to get under your Liberty with tools every so often; consider it "bonding time."
I've never been much of a mechanic, but I've found the KJ pretty easy to tinker with and maintain. Maybe it's just part of owning a Jeep, but I now find myself with a growing wish list of upgrades/mods that I'd like to make with the goal of building the
ultimate Liberty. Cool thing is that that concept varies from person to person, because not everyone uses their Jeep the same way in the same environment. There are so may ways to personalize a KJ, and most Jeep owners seem to like having those choices.
